A Masked Man Seen Training At Newcastle United

The good news about Ben Arfa this morning has been backed up by more good news about Shola Ameobi, who has returned to training at Newcastle.
Shola Ameobi - we need a photo of him in his mask!
Shola is now back from Detroit, where he traveled last Thursday to get his individual face mask fitted by specialist Jeremy Murray,
And the Nigerian-born striker, who has 294 appearances and 68 goals for the Magpies, was said to be all smiles at the club’s Benton HQ yesterday.
Alan Pardew will skip the game against Bolton, and get the big striker ready for the Everton game at home a week come Saturday.
This is what Alan said today about the 6’2″ striker:
“Shola’s running now and has his mask.” “He knows he’s got his work cut out to get back in this team.”Steven Taylor also came through an intensive training session for the second day running, following his hamstring problem he picked up against West Ham, and he will be available to play on Saturday, but will probably end up on the bench.
“Peter and Leon weren’t first choice at the start of the season. But they have worked hard and are doing well.”
And of course his namesake, Ryan Taylor, is also fully fit again and he hasn’t been part of the action since last October, and we think Ryan can do a good job for Newcastle for the remainder of the season.
This is what Alan Pardew said about the injury situation today:
“Ryan is back and available and he will be looking forward to it, of course.”We would expect the Newcastle bench to be a lot stronger on Saturday and expect both Taylors to be sitting there at 3:00 pm on Saturday, when the lads can hopefully get another valuable 3 points at the expense of Bolton Wanderers.
“But Danny Guthrie will not be involved on Saturday, and Tim Krul has a little knock but he’ll be OK.”
“Peter Lovenkrands will be fine, I’m sure of it.”
Who knows we could even be 7th top come Saturday evening.
