The toon boss Alan Pardew has told the press today that Hatem Ben Afra could be back for a Premier League return this season against Wolves. This Wolves tie will be played on the 2nd of April 2011. Hatem has not played a game of football since that leg injury away to Manchester City at the start of the season. The star will be back in full time training next month with the 23 year old ready to return to a toon side with half a dozen games left after the Wolves match at St.James Park.
Anyway this is what the toon boss Alan Pardew told the press: “You’d like to think he’s got every chance of playing against Wolves. The Stoke game is probably too soon for him. He will not be toned up as he has been out for so long. He’s running, but he’s a good month away.” If he is fully fit for the Wolves clash, he should be included in the home tie’s against Manchester United, Birmingham City and West Brom as well as away games against Chelsea, Liverpool and Blackpool.
